Sultan’s Wardrobes (Sultan’s Wardrobes Pty Ltd, ABN 33 669 961 504) designs, manufactures and installs custom wardrobes, including built-in robes and walk-in robes, across Sydney. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

We only collect information we need to quote, design, build and install your wardrobe, and to run our business. This may include:

  • Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and property address.
  • Project details: room measurements, ceiling heights, photos or floor plans of your space, and your preferences for doors, internals, finishes and hardware.
  • Property access details: parking, building access, strata requirements and installation scheduling notes.
  • Payment records: invoices and payment confirmations. We do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Communications: emails, messages, call notes and feedback you send us.
  • Website data: your IP address, browser type, pages visited and how you found our site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

You can browse our website without telling us who you are. We need your contact and property details to provide a measure and quote or carry out an installation.

How we collect it

We collect information when you:

  • complete a quote request or contact form on our website
  • call, email or message us
  • meet us for an in-home measure and quote
  • accept a quote and arrange installation
  • interact with our website, Google Business Profile or social media pages.

If a builder, real estate agent or property manager gives us your details to arrange a quote, we use them only for that purpose.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and book your measure and quote appointment
  • prepare your quote and wardrobe design
  • manufacture and install your wardrobe, and schedule our installers
  • process payments and keep business records
  • provide aftercare and handle warranty claims under our 10-year warranty
  • improve our website, services and advertising
  • send occasional updates or offers, only if you agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where needed to deliver our services, such as with:

  • our installers and trades working on your project
  • suppliers who need delivery details for materials or hardware
  • payment, accounting and software providers we use to run the business
  • website hosting, analytics and advertising providers
  • building managers or strata, where access is needed for installation
  • government bodies or others where the law requires it.

Some of these providers, such as Google and Meta, may store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information appropriately.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies to work properly and to help us understand how visitors use it. We use:

  • Google Analytics to measure website traffic and behaviour
  • Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising.

How we protect your information

We store personal information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to staff who need it. Paper records, such as measure sheets, are kept securely. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including warranty and legal record-keeping, then securely delete or destroy it.

No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and take steps to contain it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
